About the writer
Two toddlers, a stack of books, and very little quiet
I'm a mom of two toddlers, and most of my days are measured in small, unfinished moments: a book read a few pages at a time, a snack negotiated, a nap that may or may not happen. Gracious Little started as a place to keep track of what I was reading and what I was learning along the way.
Some of the things I write about have made our days easier. Others simply didn't fit our household. I try to share both, because honest notes are more useful to me than polished advice.
Why this blog
Honest, in-progress, and written from the middle of it
I'm not writing from the other side of toddler life, and I don't have every part of motherhood figured out. What I can offer is an accurate account of what this stage feels like from inside it: the mindset shifts I've been working through, and the practical things that have or haven't held up in our house.
Books and everyday products appear here because they are part of how I get through the days. I'd rather tell you what I actually used, what didn't fit, and what I'm still thinking about than hand you a list of must-haves. If something here helps you feel a little less alone, that is the whole point.
